Drag Racing Causes Route 1 Crash That Injures 2 In Edison

Drag racers on Route 1 led to a crash in Edison that seriously injured two people on Thursday, May 23, authorities said.

Police were looking for two vehicles that may have contributed to the crash: a white Infiniti G35 and a black Honda Accord, according to police.

Two people suffered broken bones as a result of the crash, police said.

There were large traffic jams during an investigation of the crash.
